Illinois High School Basketball - Clinton crushes Argenta-Oreana
December 15, 2022: Clinton, IL 61727 Clinton Maroons (Clinton, IL) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Argenta-Oreana Bombers (Argenta, IL), 62-15 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Clinton upgrades its record to 7-6 on the season. The Maroons travel to El Paso-Gridley (El Paso, IL) to play the Titans in a non-league bout on Monday, December 19. The Titans go into the bout with a record of 5-5. El Paso-Gridley lost 42-38 in their recent league bout against Lexington (Lexington, IL)
Next up, the Bombers play the Tri-City/Sangamon Valley Storm (Niantic, IL) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, December 17. Argenta-Oreana will attempt to upgrade on its 0-9 season record. The Storm go into the bout with a 4-6 record after their 42-27 league win over Lincolnwood (Raymond, IL).
