The crowd at Saturday's league contest between the Saranac Lake Red Storm (Saranac Lake, NY) and the visiting Peru Indians (Peru, NY), observed Saranac Lake's football squad thwart Peru by a count of 21-7.

The Red Storm now own a 3-0 record. They play next when they travel to Ticonderoga for a Section 7 contest on Friday, September 23. Saranac Lake will play a Sentinels squad coming off a 27-0 league win over Saranac (Saranac, NY). The Sentinels record now stands at 3-0.
