Colorado High School Basketball - Hinkley nudges Westminster

Hinkley Thunderbirds (Aurora, CO) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Westminster Wolves (Westminster, CO), 50-44 in a league bout.

With the win, Hinkley upgrades its record to 4-10 on the season. The Thunderbirds host Horizon (Thornton, CO) to clash with the Hawks in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 24. The Hawks go into the bout with a record of 9-4. Horizon won 65-45 in their recent league bout against Rocky Mountain (Fort Collins, CO)

Next up, the Wolves clash with the Brighton Bulldogs (Brighton, CO) in a 5A/4A East Metro bout, on Tuesday, January 27. Westminster will attempt to upgrade on its 2-13 season record. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a 5-10 record after their 59-52 league loss to Thornton (Thornton, CO).
