The crowd at Wednesday's non-league bout between the Marquette Catholic Explorers (Alton, IL) and the host Alton Redbirds (Alton, IL), saw Marquette Catholic's volleyball squad beat Alton by a tally of 2-0.

With the win, Marquette Catholic upgrades its record to 14-6 on the year. The Explorers host Father McGivney Catholic (Glen Carbon, IL) to play the Griffins in a Gateway Metro bout on Friday, April 28. The Griffins go into the bout with a record of 12-7. Father McGivney Catholic won 2-0 in their recent league bout against Maryville Christian (Maryville, IL)
