Pennsylvania High School Basketball - South Fayette overwhelms Ambridge
December 19, 2023: McDonald, PA 15057 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the South Fayette Lions (McDonald, PA) and the visiting Ambridge Bridgers (Ambridge, PA), saw South Fayette's basketball squad wallop Ambridge by a tally of 70-17.
With the victory, South Fayette improves its record to 4-2 on the campaign. The Lions travel to Olentangy Liberty (Powell, OH) to confront the Patriots in a non-league challenge on Thursday, December 28. The Patriots come into the challenge with a record of 5-2. Olentangy Liberty won 46-42 in their recent league challenge against Upper Arlington (Columbus, OH)
Next up, the Bridgers confront the Quaker Valley Quakers (Leetsdale, PA) in a WPIAL 4A 2 challenge, on Tuesday, January 2. Ambridge will attempt to improve on its 0-6 season record.
