Ridgewood Maroons (Ridgewood, NJ) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Passaic Indians (Passaic, NJ), 60-42 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Ridgewood upgrades its record to 7-8 on the season. The Maroons host Ramsey (Ramsey, NJ) to play the Rams in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 20. The Rams go into the bout with a record of 7-6. Ramsey won 45-28 in their recent non-league bout against Cliffside Park (Cliffside Park, NJ)

Next up, the Indians play the Lakeland Regional Lancers (Wanaque, NJ) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, January 20. Passaic will attempt to upgrade on its 7-6 season record. The Lancers go into the bout with a 3-8 record after their 40-23 non-league win over Bergen Tech (Hackensack, NJ).
