Western Guilford Hornets (Greensboro, NC) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Jordan-Matthews Jets (Siler City, NC), 80-12 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Western Guilford upgrades its record to 2-2 on the campaign. The Hornets host West Forsyth (Clemmons, NC) to play the Titans in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 5. The Titans come into the bout with a record of 2-2. West Forsyth won 49-33 in their recent non-league bout against Atkins (Winston-Salem, NC)

Next up, the Jets play the Cummings Cavaliers (Burlington, NC) in a 1A/2A Mid-Carolina bout, on Tuesday, December 5. Jordan-Matthews will attempt to upgrade on its 3-1 season record.
