North Carolina High School Basketball - Gray Stone Day beaten by Christ the King
January 13, 2023: Misenheimer, NC 28109 In Friday's non-league match, the visiting Christ the King Crusaders basketball team scored a good 43-27 triumph over the Gray Stone Day Knights.
In their next game, the Crusaders face the Pine Lake Prep Pride (Mooresville, NC) in a 1A/2A Conference 39 match, on Tuesday, January 17. Christ the King will attempt to move on its 9-5 season record. The Pride enter the match with a 6-9 record after their 63-30 league loss to Community School of Davidson (Davidson, NC).
With the defeat, Gray Stone Day moves to 3-10 on the year. The Knights travel to Mount Pleasant (Mt. Pleasant, NC) to face the Tigers in a 1A/2A Conference 35 match on Friday, January 20. The Tigers enter the match with a record of 5-12. Mount Pleasant lost 56-45 in their recent league match against Union Academy (Monroe, NC)
