Burlington Cougars (Burlington, CO) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host McCook Bison (McCook, NE), 65-60 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Burlington upgrades its record to 3-0 on the season. The Cougars host Wray (Wray, CO) to play the Eagles in a non-league bout on Friday, December 9. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 2-0. Wray won 54-51 in their recent non-league bout against Colby (Colby, KS)

Next up, the Bison play the Colby Eagles (Colby, KS) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 9. McCook will attempt to upgrade on its 1-2 season record. The Eagles go into the bout with a 0-1 record after their 54-51 non-league loss to Wray (Wray, CO).
