South Dakota High School Basketball - St. Mary ripped by DeSmet
December 21, 2020: DeSmet, SD 57231 The DeSmet Bulldogs basketball team scored 69 points and held the visiting St. Mary Cardinals to 33 in the Bulldogs non-league triumph on Monday.
The Bulldogs now sport a 3-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Estelline/Hendricks for a B Region 3 contest on Tuesday, December 22. DeSmet will meet a team coming off a 46-40 league loss to Lake Preston (Lake Preston, SD). The record now stands at 1-1.
The Cardinals (2-1) will now prepare for their contest against Chester (Chester, SD). The Flyers enter the B Region 4 contest with a 2-3 record. In their last contest, Chester triumphed over McCook Central/Montrose (Salem, SD), 53-47, in a non-league contest.
