Wisconsin High School Basketball - Edgewood nips Westfield Area
December 30, 2021: Madison, WI 53711 Edgewood Crusaders (Madison, WI) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Westfield Area Pioneers (Westfield, WI), 46-44 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Edgewood upgrades its record to 4-3 on the season. The Crusaders host Aquinas (La Crosse, WI) to play the Blugolds in a non-league bout on Monday, February 14. The Blugolds go into the bout with a record of 8-2.
Next up, the Pioneers play the Pacelli Cardinals (Stevens Point, WI) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 4. Westfield Area will attempt to upgrade on its 8-1 season record. The Cardinals go into the bout with a 6-3 record after their 65-21 non-league loss to Amherst (Amherst, WI).
