Tennessee High School Basketball - Union City tops Munford
November 27, 2021: Union City, TN 38261 Union City Golden Tornadoes (Union City, TN) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Munford Cougars (Munford, TN), 58-42 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Union City upgrades its record to 2-2 on the campaign. The Golden Tornadoes travel to Haywood (Brownsville, TN) to play the Tomcats in a non-league bout on Tuesday, November 30. The Tomcats come into the bout with a record of 1-1. Haywood won 53-40 in their recent non-league bout against Humboldt (Humboldt, TN)
Next up, the Cougars play the Jackson North Side Indians (Jackson, TN) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 3. Munford will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record.
