Texas High School Basketball - Cleburne overwhelms Berkner
December 29, 2023: Cleburne, TX 76033 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Cleburne Yellowjackets (Cleburne, TX) and the visiting Berkner Rams (Richardson, TX), saw Cleburne's basketball squad wallop Berkner by a count of 56-28.
With the victory, Cleburne upgrades its record to 13-10 on the campaign. The Yellowjackets travel to Midlothian Heritage (Midlothian, TX) to play the Jaguars in a 5A Region I District 8 challenge on Tuesday, January 2. The Jaguars come into the challenge with a record of 16-9. Midlothian Heritage won 47-29 in their recent non-league challenge against Greenhill (Addison, TX)
Next up, the Rams play the Lake Highlands Wildcats (Dallas, TX) in a 6A Region I District 7 challenge, on Tuesday, January 2. Berkner will attempt to upgrade on its 11-10 season record.
