In Friday's league outing, the Cypress Lakes Spartans (Katy, TX) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Cypress Ranch Mustangs (Houston, TX), by a count of 77-54.

The Spartans (13-6) will now prepare for their outing against Langham Creek (Houston, TX). The Lobos go into the 6A Region III District 17 outing with a 7-15 record. In their last outing, Langham Creek smashed Cypress Creek (Houston, TX), 51-48, in a league outing.
