Washington High School Basketball - Sultan nips Cashmere
December 3, 2022: Sultan, WA 98294 Sultan Turks (Sultan, WA) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Cashmere Bulldogs (Cashmere, WA), 70-65 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Sultan upgrades its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Turks host University Prep (Seattle, WA) to play the Pumas in a 1A Emerald Sound bout on Tuesday, December 6. The Pumas come into the bout with a record of 1-1. University Prep won 50-34 in their recent league bout against Bush (Seattle, WA)
Next up, the Bulldogs play the Omak Pioneers (Omak, WA) in a 1A Caribou Trail bout, on Tuesday, December 6. Cashmere will attempt to upgrade on its 2-1 season record. The Pioneers come into the bout with a 1-0 record after their 67-58 non-league win over Liberty Bell (Winthrop, WA).
