Louisiana High School Basketball - Rayville overwhelms General Trass
February 2, 2024: Lake Providence, LA 71254 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Rayville Hornets (Rayville, LA) and the host General Trass Panthers (Lake Providence, LA), saw Rayville's basketball squad wallop General Trass by a count of 70-19.
With the victory, Rayville upgrades its record to 19-8 on the campaign. The Hornets travel to West Monroe (West Monroe, LA) to play the Rebels in a non-league challenge on Monday, February 5. The Rebels come into the challenge with a record of 13-9. West Monroe lost 54-51 in their recent league challenge against Pineville (Pineville, LA)
Next up, the Panthers play the Mangham Dragons (Mangham, LA) in a 2A District 2 challenge, on Tuesday, February 6. General Trass will attempt to upgrade on its 3-16 season record. The Dragons come into the challenge with a 3-18 record after their 68-38 league loss to Vidalia (Vidalia, LA).
