Moorhead Spuds (Moorhead, MN) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Buffalo Bison (Buffalo, MN), 76-51 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Moorhead upgrades its record to 9-4 on the season. The Spuds travel to St. Cloud Tech (St. Cloud, MN) to play the Tigers in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 10. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 5-9. St. Cloud Tech lost 63-39 in their recent league bout against Sartell-St. Stephen (Sartell, MN)

Next up, the Bison play the Big Lake Hornets (Big Lake, MN) in a Mississippi 8 bout, on Tuesday, January 10. Buffalo will attempt to upgrade on its 3-6 season record. The Hornets go into the bout with a 7-4 record after their 57-37 non-league loss to Wayzata (Plymouth, MN).
