In Thursday's non-league battle, the host Ridgewood Golden Eagles volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Crescent City Christian Pioneers.

The Golden Eagles (7-18) will now prepare for their battle against St. Martin's Episcopal (Metairie, LA). The Saints come into the V District 7 battle with a 10-9 record. In their last battle, St. Martin's Episcopal achieved victory over Lusher (New Orleans, LA), 2-1, in a non-league battle.

Next, the Pioneers encounter the South Plaquemines Hurricanes (Port Sulphur, LA) in a V District 8 battle, on Monday, October 17.
