The Emmetsburg E'Hawks basketball team scored 55 points and held the visiting Cherokee Washington Braves to 50 in the E'Hawks non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The E'Hawks now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Graettinger-Terril/Ruthven-Ayrshire for a Twin Lakes contest on Friday, December 1. Emmetsburg will meet a Titans team coming off a 40-34 non-league win over West Bend-Mallard (West Bend, IA). The Titans record now stands at 1-0.

The Braves (0-1) will now prepare for their contest against Woodbine (Woodbine, IA). The Tigers enter the non-league contest with a 0-1 record. In their last contest, Woodbine was nudged by Exira-EHK (Elk Horn, IA), 76-60, in a non-league contest.
