Indiana High School Softball - Greenfield-Central nudges Shenandoah
May 2, 2018: Greenfield, IN 46140 Greenfield-Central Cougars (Greenfield, IN) backers exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Shenandoah Raiders (Middletown, IN), 6-5 in a non-league challenge.
The Cougars now own a 8-5 record. They take the field next when they host New Palestine for a Hoosier Heritage challenge on Thursday, May 3. Greenfield-Central will face a Dragons squad coming off a 12-5 league win over Pendleton Heights (Pendleton, IN). The Dragons record now stands at 14-1.
With the loss, Shenandoah falls to 5-8 on the campaign. The Raiders travel to Blackford (Hartford City, IN) to face the Bruins in a non-league challenge on Friday, May 4. The Bruins enter the challenge with a record of 2-13. Blackford lost 10-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Maconaquah (Bunker Hill, IN)
