Texas High School Football - Denver City sneaks past Crane

The Denver City Mustangs football squad scored 19 points and restricted the host Crane Cranes to 16 in the Mustangs non-league victory on Friday.

The Mustangs now possess a 2-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lamesa for a 3A-1 Region I District 1 battle on Friday, October 8. Denver City will face a Tornadoes squad coming off a 13-12 non-league win over Fabens (Fabens, TX). The Tornadoes record now stands at 3-2.

Coming up next, the Cranes face the Fort Stockton Panthers (Fort Stockton, TX) in a non-league battle, on Friday, October 1. Crane will attempt to advance on its 4-1 season record. The Panthers enter the battle with a 4-1 record after their 42-0 non-league win over Pecos (Pecos, TX).
