January 6, 2012: Albuquerque, NM 87114 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Cibola Cougars (Albuquerque, NM) and the visiting Santa Fe Demons (Santa Fe, NM), saw Cibola's basketball squad knock off Santa Fe by a score of 70-52.
With the victory, Cibola improves its record to 8-4 on the campaign. The Cougars host Albuquerque (Albuquerque, NM) to battle the Bulldogs in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, January 10. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a record of 10-2. Albuquerque won 40-28 in their recent non-league challenge against Onate (Las Cruces, NM)
Next up, the Demons battle the Valencia Jaguars (Los Lunas, NM) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, January 7. Santa Fe will attempt to improve on its 4-8 season record. The Jaguars come into the challenge with a 6-6 record after their 45-34 non-league win over Atrisco Heritage Academy (Albuquerque, NM).
