The Stevenson Patriots basketball team scored 42 points and held the visiting Mundelein Mustangs to 24 in the Patriots league triumph on Friday.

The Patriots now sport a 7-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Saint Viator for a non-league contest on Wednesday, December 21. Stevenson will meet a Lions team coming off a 61-40 league loss to Benet Academy (Lisle, IL). The Lions record now stands at 4-7.

The Mustangs (6-7) will now prepare for their contest against Rockford Auburn (Rockford, IL). The Knights enter the non-league contest with a 7-6 record. In their last contest, Rockford Auburn was defeated by Harlem (Machesney Park, IL), 57-39, in a league contest.
