Illinois High School Basketball - Carmel overwhelms Waukegan
December 4, 2021: Waukegan, IL 60085 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Carmel Corsairs (Mundelein, IL) and the host Waukegan Bulldogs (Waukegan, IL), saw Carmel's basketball squad wallop Waukegan by a count of 69-28.
With the victory, Carmel upgrades its record to 5-2 on the campaign. The Corsairs travel to Lakes (Lake Villa, IL) to play the Eagles in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, December 7. The Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 3-4. Lakes won 51-46 in their recent league challenge against Grayslake North (Grayslake, IL)
Next up, the Bulldogs play the Mundelein Mustangs (Mundelein, IL) in a North Suburban challenge, on Tuesday, December 7. Waukegan will attempt to upgrade on its 0-3 season record. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a 4-2 record after their 64-37 non-league loss to Evanston (Evanston, IL).
