February 15, 2022: Soldotna, AK 99669 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Klawock Chieftains (Klawock, AK) and the host Cook Inlet Academy Eagles (Soldotna, AK), saw Klawock's basketball squad overcome Cook Inlet Academy by a tally of 51-41.
With the victory, Klawock improves its record to 11-1 on the campaign. The Chieftains travel to Bristol Bay (Naknek, AK) to confront the Angels in a non-league challenge on Thursday, February 17. The Angels come into the challenge with a record of 3-7. Bristol Bay lost 44-29 in their recent league challenge against Chief Ivan Blanka (New Stuyahok, AK)
Next up, the Eagles confront the Lumen Christi Archangels (Anchorage, AK) in a 1A Peninsula challenge, on Thursday, February 17. Cook Inlet Academy will attempt to improve on its 3-4 season record.
