The Central Mountain Wildcats baseball team scored 15 runs and limited the visiting Shamokin Area Indians to 0 in the Wildcats league victory on Monday.

The Wildcats (7-1) will now prepare for their match against Mifflinburg (Mifflinburg, PA). The Wildcats go into the Heartland I challenge with a 2-5 record. In their last challenge, Mifflinburg was overwhelmed by Selinsgrove (Selinsgrove, PA), 10-2, in a league challenge.

With the defeat, Shamokin Area falls to 1-10 on the season. The Indians host Lewisburg (Lewisburg, PA) to encounter the Green Dragons in a Heartland I challenge on Wednesday, April 27. The Green Dragons come into the challenge with a record of 5-3. Lewisburg lost 4-2 in their recent league challenge against Montoursville (Montoursville, PA)
