Arizona High School Softball - Desert View nudges Cholla
March 1, 2011: Tucson, AZ 85713 Desert View Jaguars (Tucson, AZ) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Cholla Chargers (Tucson, AZ), 1-0 in a non-league challenge.
The Jaguars now own a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they host Catalina for a non-league challenge on Friday, March 4. Desert View will face a Trojans squad coming off a 10-0 non-league loss to Sahuaro (Tucson, AZ). The Trojans record now stands at 0-1.
With the loss, Cholla falls to 1-2 on the campaign. The Chargers host Vista Grande (Casa Grande, AZ) to face the Spartans in a non-league challenge on Friday, March 4. The Spartans enter the challenge with a record of 0-1. Vista Grande lost 5-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Santa Rita (Tucson, AZ)
