Florida High School Softball - Melbourne bounces Dwyer
April 12, 2024: Melbourne, FL 32901 Melbourne Bulldogs (Melbourne, FL) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the visiting Dwyer Panthers (Palm Beach Gardens, FL), 11-1 in a non-league challenge.
The Bulldogs now own a 22-0 record. They take the field next when they host Lake Brantley for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, April 16. Melbourne will face a Patriots squad coming off a 5-4 non-league loss to Spruce Creek (Port Orange, FL). The Patriots record now stands at 12-6.
With the loss, Dwyer falls to 5-13 on the campaign. The Panthers host Cardinal Newman (West Palm Beach, FL) to face the Crusaders in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, April 16. The Crusaders enter the challenge with a record of 12-2.
