In Wednesday's non-league outing, the Sun Valley Spartans (Monroe, NC) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Hickory Ridge Ragin' Bulls (Harrisburg, NC), by a margin of 74-39.

The Spartans (10-2) will now prepare for their outing against Central Cabarrus (Concord, NC). The Vikings go into the non-league outing with a 12-0 record. In their last outing, Central Cabarrus smashed Mount Pleasant (Mt. Pleasant, NC), 103-61, in a non-league outing.
