Iowa High School Basketball - Forest City crushes Garner-Hayfield
January 13, 2023: Garner, IA 50438 Forest City Indians (Forest City, IA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Garner-Hayfield Cardinals (Garner, IA), 56-35 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Forest City upgrades its record to 7-5 on the season. The Indians host North Union (Armstrong, IA) to play the Warriors in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 17. The Warriors go into the bout with a record of 7-2. North Union won 52-19 in their recent non-league bout against North Iowa (Buffalo Center, IA)
Next up, the Cardinals play the West Hancock Eagles (Britt, IA) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 17. Garner-Hayfield will attempt to upgrade on its 2-3 season record. The Eagles go into the bout with a 4-6 record after their 45-30 non-league win over Hampton-Dumont (Hampton, IA).
