Florida High School Basketball - Excel Christian Academy knocked off by Lakeland Christian
January 3, 2023: Lakeland, FL 33803 The Lakeland Christian Vikings basketball team scored 47 points and held the visiting Excel Christian Academy Spartans to 37 in the Vikings non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Vikings now sport a 1-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Keswick Christian for a non-league contest on Monday, January 9. Lakeland Christian will meet a Crusaders team coming off a 45-35 non-league win over Indian Rocks Christian (Largo, FL). The Crusaders record now stands at 6-2.
The Spartans (1-3) will now prepare for their contest against McLaughlin (Lake Wales, FL). The Phoenix enter the non-league contest with a 1-3 record. In their last contest, McLaughlin was defeated by Lakeland (Lakeland, FL), 76-21, in a non-league contest.
