California High School Basketball - Marquez crushes Hollywood
December 1, 2022: Huntington Park, CA 90255 Marquez Gladiators (Huntington Park, CA) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Hollywood Sheiks (Los Angeles, CA), 54-11 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Marquez upgrades its record to 2-4 on the season. The Gladiators host Maywood Academy (Maywood, CA) to play the Nighthawks in a bout on Tuesday, December 6. The Nighthawks go into the bout with a record of 3-1. Maywood Academy won 49-26 in their recent non-league bout against Huntington Park (Huntington Park, CA)
Next up, the Sheiks play the Torres Toros (Los Angeles, CA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 2. Hollywood will attempt to upgrade on its 0-5 season record. The Toros go into the bout with a 0-1 record after their 39-25 non-league loss to Lincoln (Los Angeles, CA).
