With the win, Buena Vista upgrades its record to 11-6 on the season. The Longhorns host Grandfalls-Royalty (Grandfalls, TX) to clash with the Cowboys in a 1A Region II District 10 bout on Friday, January 6. The Cowboys go into the bout with a record of 1-9.
