Casa Grande Cougars (Casa Grande, AZ) fans exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Ironwood Ridge Nighthawks (Tucson, AZ), 14-6 in a league test.

With the win, Casa Grande upgrades its record to 5-4 on the season. The Cougars travel to Sunnyside (Tucson, AZ) to battle the Blue Devils in a non-league test on Monday, April 19. The Blue Devils come into the test with a record of 10-2. Sunnyside won 6-4 in their recent league test against Buena (Sierra Vista, AZ)

With the defeat, Ironwood Ridge falls to 9-3 on the season. The Nighthawks travel to Catalina Foothills (Tucson, AZ) to battle the Falcons in a 5A Sonoran test on Tuesday, April 20. The Falcons come into the test with a record of 8-4.
