The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Carroll Chargers (Fort Wayne, IN) and the host Portage Northern Huskies (Portage, MI), saw Carroll's volleyball squad beat Portage Northern by a tally of 2-0.

With the win, Carroll upgrades its record to 3-2 on the year. The Chargers travel to Heritage (Monroeville, IN) to play the Patriots in a non-league bout on Tuesday, August 24. The Patriots go into the bout with a record of 4-1. Heritage won 2-0 in their recent non-league bout against Bethany Christian (Goshen, IN)
