April 1, 2022: Guin, AL 35563 Marion County Red Raiders (Guin, AL) fans exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Pickens County Tornadoes (Reform, AL), 19-5 in a non-league test.
With the win, Marion County upgrades its record to 7-7 on the season. The Red Raiders travel to Lynn (Lynn, AL) to battle the Bears in a 1A Area 10 test on Monday, April 4. The Bears come into the test with a record of 8-9. Lynn won 10-6 in their recent league test against Hubbertville (Fayette, AL)
With the defeat, Pickens County falls to 1-9 on the season. The Tornadoes host Berry (Berry, AL) to battle the Wildcats in a 1A Area 8 test on Tuesday, April 5. The Wildcats come into the test with a record of 6-5. Berry won 18-1 in their recent league test against Holy Spirit Catholic (Tuscaloosa, AL)
