Minnesota High School Basketball - Washington Tech ripped by St. Paul Central
January 17, 2024: St. Paul, MN The St. Paul Central Minutemen basketball team scored 58 points and held the host Washington Tech Eagles to 32 in the Minutemen non-league triumph on Wednesday.
The Minutemen now sport a 3-10 record. They put it on the line next when they host Minneapolis South for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 20. St. Paul Central will meet a Tigers team coming off a 47-8 non-league win over Edison (Minneapolis, MN). The Tigers record now stands at 11-3.
The Eagles (6-2) will now prepare for their contest against St. Paul Academy-Summit (St. Paul, MN). The Spartans enter the AA Section 4 contest with a 5-4 record. In their last contest, St. Paul Academy-Summit triumphed over Math & Science Academy (Woodbury, MN), 66-34, in a league contest.
