Forestview Jaguars (Gastonia, NC) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad run past the host North Gaston Wildcats (Dallas, NC), 16-2 in a league challenge.

The Jaguars now own a 7-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Stuart W. Cramer for a Big South 3A challenge on Tuesday, April 9. Forestview will face a Storm squad coming off a 11-5 league win over South Point (Belmont, NC). The Storm record now stands at 5-4.

With the loss, North Gaston falls to 2-7 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to South Point (Belmont, NC) to face the Red Raiders in a Big South 3A challenge on Tuesday, April 9. The Red Raiders enter the challenge with a record of 6-5.
