Minnesota High School Basketball - Anoka ripped by Andover
January 6, 2023: Anoka, MN 55303 The Andover Huskies basketball team scored 88 points and held the host Anoka Tornadoes to 55 in the Huskies league triumph on Friday.
The Huskies now sport a 6-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Maple Grove for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 10. Andover will battle a Crimson team coming off a 65-56 non-league loss to Totino-Grace (Fridley, MN). The Crimson record now stands at 6-2.
The Tornadoes (2-4) will now prepare for their contest against Elk River (Elk River, MN). The Elks enter the non-league contest with a 1-5 record. In their last contest, Elk River was routed by Robbinsdale Armstrong (Plymouth, MN), 63-55, in a non-league contest.
