Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Fleming Colonels (Roanoke, VA) and the visiting Christiansburg Blue Demons (Christiansburg, VA), saw Fleming's basketball squad knock off Christiansburg by a count of 50-36.

With the victory, Fleming upgrades its record to 5-0 on the campaign. The Colonels travel to Millbrook (Winchester, VA) to play the Pioneers in a non-league challenge on Saturday, December 16. The Pioneers come into the challenge with a record of 6-0. Millbrook won 84-32 in their recent league challenge against Sherando (Stephens City, VA)

Next up, the Blue Demons play the Pulaski County Cougars (Dublin, VA) in a River Ridge challenge, on Tuesday, December 19. Christiansburg will attempt to upgrade on its 1-2 season record.
