Connecticut High School Soccer - Taft School knocks off Kent School
October 29, 2022: Kent, CT 06757 Taft School Big Red (Watertown, CT) supporters were pleased Saturday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the host Kent School Lions (Kent, CT), 9-1 in a league challenge.
Next, the Big Red confront the Choate Rosemary Hall School Wild Boars (Wallingford, CT) in a Colonial challenge, on Wednesday, November 2. Taft School will attempt to move on its 9-3 season record. The Wild Boars enter the challenge with a 11-3 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Northfield Mount Hermon (Mount Hermon, MA).
The Lions now possess a 2-11 record. They take the field next when they host Trinity-Pawling School for a NEPSAC Freelance challenge on Wednesday, November 2. Kent School will confront a Pride team coming off a 7-1 league loss to Millbrook School (Millbrook, NY). The Pride record now stands at 5-10.
