North Carolina High School Basketball - West Charlotte tipped by Morrow

January 13, 2024: Charlotte, NC 28216

In Saturday's non-league match, the visiting Morrow Mustangs basketball team scored a tight 77-75 triumph over the West Charlotte Lions.

In their next game, the Mustangs meet the Lovejoy Wildcats (Lovejoy, GA) in a AAAAAA Region 3 match, on Wednesday, January 17. Morrow will attempt to move on its 9-8 season record. The Wildcats enter the match with a 6-8 record after their 65-57 non-league loss to South Cobb (Austell, GA).

With the defeat, West Charlotte moves to 7-7 on the year. The Lions host Chambers (Charlotte, NC) to meet the Cougars in a 3A/4A Queen City match on Tuesday, January 16. The Cougars enter the match with a record of 9-6. Chambers lost 91-85 in their recent non-league match against Cannon (Concord, NC)
