Nokomis Redskins (Nokomis, IL) fans exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Tri-City Tornadoes (Buffalo, IL), 9-3 in a league test.

With the win, Nokomis upgrades its record to 8-6 on the season. The Redskins travel to Pawnee (Pawnee, IL) to battle the Indians in a MSM test on Saturday, April 23. The Indians come into the test with a record of 8-2. Pawnee lost 11-3 in their recent non-league test against New Berlin (New Berlin, IL)

With the defeat, Tri-City falls to 2-3 on the season. The Tornadoes host PORTA/Ashland-Chandlerville Central (Petersburg, IL) to play the Bluejays in a non-league battle on Friday, April 22. The Bluejays enter the battle with a record of 6-11. PORTA/Ashland-Chandlerville Central lost 12-1 in their recent league battle against Williamsville (Williamsville, IL)
