Indian River Indians (Dagsboro, DE) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Delmar Wildcats (Delmar, DE), 45-38 in a league bout.

With the win, Indian River upgrades its record to 4-0 on the season. The Indians travel to Woodbridge (Bridgeville, DE) to play the Raiders in a Henlopen - Southern bout on Tuesday, December 13. The Raiders go into the bout with a record of 2-0.

Next up, the Wildcats play the Colonel Richardson Colonels (Federalsburg, MD) in a non-league bout, on Monday, December 12. Delmar will attempt to upgrade on its 0-3 season record. The Colonels go into the bout with a 0-2 record after their 78-46 non-league loss to Decatur (Berlin, MD).
