Fans at Saturday's league challenge between the Americas Trail Blazers (El Paso, TX) and the host Permian Panthers (Odessa, TX), saw Americas's basketball squad overcome Permian by a tally of 40-29.

With the victory, Americas improves its record to 18-1 on the campaign. The Trail Blazers travel to Hanks (El Paso, TX) to confront the Knights in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, December 14. The Knights come into the challenge with a record of 7-4. Hanks won 61-54 in their recent non-league challenge against Harmony Science Academy (El Paso, TX)

Next up, the Panthers confront the Odessa Bronchos (Odessa, TX) in a 6A Region I District 2 challenge, on Tuesday, December 21. Permian will attempt to improve on its 11-2 season record.
