In their next game, the Spartans clash with the Union Cougars (Roosevelt, UT) in a non-league match, on Thursday, September 2. Emery will attempt to move on its 1-0 season record. The Cougars enter the match with a 0-1 record after their 36-35 non-league loss to Uintah (Vernal, UT).
The Hawks (0-1) will now prepare for their match against Delta (Delta, UT). The Rabbits enter the non-league match with a 1-0 record. In their last match, Delta held off Manti (Manti, UT), 26-13, in a non-league match.
