Missouri High School Baseball - St. Pius X holds off Lawson
April 4, 2023: Lawson, MO 64062 St. Pius X Warriors (Kansas City, MO) fans exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Lawson Cardinals (Lawson, MO), 7-3 in a league test.
With the win, St. Pius X upgrades its record to 7-1 on the season. The Warriors host St. James Academy (Lenexa, KS) to battle the Thunder in a non-league test on Monday, April 10. The Thunder come into the test with a record of 3-3. St. James Academy won 5-2 in their recent non-league test against Rockhurst (Kansas City, MO)
With the defeat, Lawson falls to 8-2 on the season. The Cardinals travel to Lathrop (Lathrop, MO) to battle the Mules in a Class 3 District 15 test on Thursday, April 6. The Mules come into the test with a record of 2-3. Lathrop lost 15-6 in their recent non-league test against Savannah (Savannah, MO)
