The Brookland Bearcats basketball team scored 80 points and held the visiting Palestine-Wheatley Patriots to 53 in the Bearcats non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Bearcats now sport a 9-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Tuckerman for a non-league contest on Saturday, December 23. Brookland will meet a Bulldogs team coming off a 70-47 non-league win over Riverside (Lake City, AR). The Bulldogs record now stands at 16-0.

The Patriots (3-7) will now prepare for their contest against Augusta (Augusta, AR). The Red Devils enter the non-league contest with a 1-9 record.
