Gruver Greyhounds (Gruver, TX) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Canadian Wildcats (Canadian, TX), 51-41 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Gruver upgrades its record to 14-9 on the campaign. The Greyhounds host Bovina (Bovina, TX) to face the Mustangs in a non-league game on Tuesday, January 10.
