The Northmont Thunderbolts basketball team scored 68 points and held the visiting Tippecanoe Red Devils to 66 in the Thunderbolts non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Thunderbolts now sport a 5-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Springboro for a Greater Western Ohio contest on Tuesday, December 21.

The Red Devils (3-1) will now prepare for their contest against Troy (Troy, OH). The Trojans enter the Miami Valley - Miami contest with a 3-2 record. In their last contest, Troy was nudged by Sidney (Sidney, OH), 64-55, in a non-league contest.
